When I wrote a story about Jim Benge in 1998, he was 64 and still mixing it up on the basketball court with guys half his age in a Kettering rec league.Seemingly a medical marvel, Jim often would get the better of opponents with a left-handed hook shot that had been his calling card since Stivers High School in the early 1950s.
